it's freedom and convenience that draws many people to these wireless headphones.
There are lots of wireless headphones out there, for this guide we have focused on the on-ear and over ear styles.
The best wireless headphones do four things, they connect your phone reliably, they are comfortable to wear for a long period of time, they are compact enough that you can put them in almost every bag, and most importantly they sound nearly as good as wired headphones, they also should last a long time between charges nobody wants to charge their headphones as often they charge their smartphone.
Of all the headphones that we tested one model stood out from the rest this Sennheiser.
The MM 550 X got all the things that we looking for in a wireless headphones, they have a strong bluetooth connection, they are comfortable to wear for a long time, they fold up into a really compact shape so you can put them easy in your bag, and even a great balanced sound that doesn't offer too much bass or too much treble, the MM 550 X comes with an active noise cancellation, built in media controls, the option to use them wired and a battery that gives you 20 hours of use, you are going to be able of wearing multiple days without charging them in between.
The MM 550 X also offers the option to swap the battery for spare when it dies, which no other brand of headphones we looked at provide it.
But as you noticed the MM 550 X are not really the best looking headphones and they kinda look goofy on your head, they also appear to be difficult when you use them with your device for the first time but fortunately you only have to do that once.
The MM 550 X are also a bit expensive, but it gives you sound, comfort and performance, and that what all of us are looking for in a wireless headphones so the MM 550 X can really be it.

But if you don't like MM 550 X look or you are just not a fan of Sennheiser you should check out these.
The Soundlinks have an on ear design but they are the most comfortable headphones that we have ever tested before, they got some really soft ear cushions and a compact lightweight design, folded up they even more compact than the MM550 X, and they are significantly less expensive than the Sennheiser.
The Bose also have a great sound although they are a little heavier in the bass than the MM550. They also provide you 15 hours of battery life and a voice departing system, the only complaint with the Soundlinks is the lack of active noise cancellation and the weaker bluetooth radio that have more interference and dropouts than the Sennheiser, even if these Soundlinks are more expensive but you will get a nice looking headphones.
Price : 279.95 $
The rest of the helmets has some really good headphone options but none as great as the top hits, the new Beats Solo 2 Wireless sounds great and they last long time between charges but they are not as comfortable to wear for long sessions as the Bose Soundlinks, the Sennheiser MM 450 are the smaller, cheaper version of our top hit, they sounds great and offers many of the same features as the MM550 X but they are not comfortable to wear as the Bose Soundlinks, they also have the same problem of having a bad look. Samsung Level Over has a great sound quality but they are huge and not very portable, the touch based controls can be kinda finicky to use similar to the Parrot Zik 2.0, even these last ones offers some innovative ideas but in order to control those features you need to use the app, which is annoying and they just don't sound as good as other headphones. Jabra Revo Wireless are durable, good looking set of headphones, they sounds good but they are a bit too bass heavy and not really comfortable to wear. Sony has a whole range of wireless headphones but none of them really stood out compared to the last of the field. Of the Sony's the MDR-1 army sounds the best but they are larger than the Sennheiser at the same price.
Wireless headphones are all about the freedom, freedom from accidents, freedom from wires, they are great and eventually everyone will be using wireless headphones more than the wired ones, but if you want the best wireless headphones today the Sennheiser MM550 X is the one you should buy.
